A number of essential activities on Barnsley council’s IT network will take place this Sunday, 6 June between 8am and 1pm.
In order to assist with this process all online services of the entire council website and that of Berneslai Homes will be unavailable for the duration
Normal service should be resumed by 1pm on the Sunday, 6 June.
The work is necessary as part of the council’s ICT partner Bull TCL, creating a new data centre, which will result improved accessibility of systems, a reduction in the amount of time when systems unavailable and a reduction in the environmental impact of operating ICT systems.
